Kush:
The Imperial Capital of the kingdom was Meroe
During the period of the rule, the Kush empire extended some 1,599 km along the Nile River Valley
The Nile Delta made the people of Kush great farmers because of the fertile land
Adopted hieroglyphics and there own language

While the kingdoms of Kush and Axum may have overlapped each other throughout their existence, the Kingdom of Kush was located in the Ethiopia/Egypt region whereas the Kingdom of Axum was located in the general area of the Saudi Arabia to Sudan.

The founder or leader that helped lead to the rise of the empire was Askia Muhammed
Sunni Ali was the first king of the Songhai empire and was later killed by his sisters son Askia Muhammed
Timbuktu was the cultural center of Songhai
The state of Songhai rose at around 1000 AD, but the liberation from the Mali Empire was established in 1430 AD

Musa the first of Malia was a great ruler of Mali, his name translates to king of kings or emperor.
Swahili Culture and Art:
The Art and Culture originated in the Southern part of Africa

Swahili consists of an Arab African mix. I.e. the language is a mixture of African and Arabic so people who speak Swahili can understand some Arabic, and people who speak Arabic can understand some Swahili.

The Ghana Empire was first established at around 400 AD, but a stable government and ruling system wasn't formed until about 790 AD. The Ghana Empire then later submitted to the Mali Empire in 1200 AD.
